My mobile process for engine repair.
Engine work starts with diagnosis — there's no point throwing parts at a problem until we know what's wrong. I bring a professional scanner and a working knowledge of where things go bad on most makes and models. If I can fix it on-site, I will. If the job genuinely needs a lift, machine shop work, or specialty tooling, I'll tell you straight up and point you in the right direction.

Quick answers.
Can a mobile mechanic really fix engine problems on-site?
Most of them, yes. Sensors, ignition, fuel system, cooling, gaskets, belts, hoses — all routine driveway work. The work that genuinely needs a lift or a machine shop is the exception, and I'll tell you when that's the case.
What if my engine needs to be removed?
Then I'll tell you. I won't take on a job I can't do right. I can help you figure out the next step and refer you to a shop that can handle it.
Do you do diagnostics for a check engine light?
Yes. I'll scan the codes, read the live data, and explain what they actually mean — not just the part-store "replace this sensor" guess.
How much is an engine diagnostic in Spokane?
Diagnostic-only visits have a flat fee. If you book the repair after, the diagnostic charge applies to the repair. Call (509) 824-9766 for the current rate.
